If I had my way, most of the walls in my house would be a chalkboard for all the beautiful and edifying quotes and verses I come across. But, since my husband helps keep me sane, our walls are a perch for family photos, and signs that serve as a constant reminder of what's important in our lives.
I've been working on building a small gallery wall in our downstairs family room, and one of the pieces I have is a gorgeous wood clipboard I got on clearance at Target. It's perfect for hanging a scripted verse, and it's easy to change it up every once in a while. This one I thought would be fitting for us in this moment:
Jesus replied, 'You don't understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.' John 13:7
For the past couple of years, our family has been going through one challenge after another. Though we've had moments of rest, it can sometimes feel like the problems are never ending, overwhelming, and tiring. We have so much to be thankful for, and we are; between prayer and God's Word, we can keep our faith up and continue walking forward.
I decided to use this verse as the first one to hang in our new gallery wall! So whenever we walk into the room, we have the Lord's promises starting right back at us. And I wanted to share that with you.
Feel free to download one (or all) of the scripts below. They're simple designs I made on Canva–-I don't claim to be a graphic designer, but I thought these were too cute to keep to myself. Enjoy!
